It's not too late to be a part of the
Spring 2013 River Herring Watch!
Volunteer: The River Herring Monitoring program is a pilot program to collect presence and absence data for River Herring in Monmouth County waters. This spring we are recruiting and training volunteers in Monmouth County to visit the designated streams for six weeks during April and May to monitor for river herring for brief observation periods of 15 minutes twice a week. There are several monitoring sites around the County. There is a location near you.
